2017 Yamaha R15 V3 Design
The all-new R15 V3.0 uses Yamaha’s reliable Delta Box frame that comes with a new aluminium swingarm. Key features like the full-fairing, high-set riding position and twin-seat set-up accentuate the aggressive look. In addition, the bike also sports design changes like LED headlamps, new body panels, redesigned ORVMs, revised rear facet and digitalized instrument cluster with blue backlights.

The front is styled assertively, featuring new fairing with smaller dual-split headlamp cluster and bigger air inlet in the middle. Other changes such as the larger fuel tank, new ram air intake and USD forks in front are likely to be seen on the bike. In terms of features, the new R15 is likely to borrow some equipment from the M-Slaz like the pillion seat, wheel design and exhaust. Some design cues on the new R15 seem to be inspired from the recently updated YZF-R6. As for the safety provisions, the company is expected to equip anti-lock-braking system for an improved braking experience.

Apart from power, Yamaha has narrowed the bore and lowered the compression ratio for better performance and fuel economy.
